Certificate Name Change & Reissue
This product is for the amendment and reissue of a course certificate where the original enrolment was completed under an incorrect name (e.g. company name, nickname, misspelling, or incorrect participant details).
Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) and associated certifications are issued strictly to individuals, confirming that a specific person has completed the training and demonstrated the required competency. Certificates cannot be issued to companies or shared across multiple individuals.
When is this required?
- Course registered under a company or organisation name
- Incorrect spelling or formatting of participant name
- Certificate required in the correct legal name of the individual
- Transfer from one named individual to another (subject to approval)
What does this include?
- Verification of participant details
- Update of course records within the system
- Reissue of certificate in the correct name
- Digital certificate provided (PDF format)
Important Information
- The name provided must be the individual who completed the course and assessments
- Requests may require verification before processing
- This fee covers administrative processing and certification control measures
- Once reissued, previous certificates become invalid
